M.I.6

MI6 is the international security agency for Britain. This is the infamous spy agency that James Bond put on the map much to M.I.6’s dismay. It is located in Regent Park in a rather plain looking building that has a classical music radio station occupying half the ground floor. The other half looks like offices for various businessmen, but is actually where the building security is located. All security systems are of course hidden behind locked doors that require five or more security codes to enter. These codes change on a monthly basis and at different times of the month and the day so no one but the Chief of Security knows what they are and when they will be changed.
Anyone inquiring at the desk about the above floors will get a smile and be told that they are private offices for businessmen from around the country. No one is allowed in the elevators except for authorized personnel. If you are authorized, you will be given a code to operate the elevator, which also changes every month. Once inside, you can enter the code then the floor number where you need to be and the elevator will send you there without stopping anywhere else. On any floor is another code that you must enter to get to the correct office. These do not change, but are up dated if someone dies or quits the agency.
If an agent needs to visit the tech lab, he must enter yet another code, this one is personal, and the elevator will take him to the lab. The lab is where all the techs work on items for agent use in the field. This is also where Q is also found testing something or another. He will be rather friendly to anyone and will explain everything to an agent before sending the item out into the field. If anyone breaks anything there he will enter the item into a computer and it’s cost will be immediately deducted from the agent’s account. (Bond will always touch something there. If he breaks it or not is another matter all together.)
M’s office is on the top floor and only available to the Investigation & Enforcement agents. These agents always report to M about any case they are assigned to. This office is not publicly acknowledged that as the agents in this group can have licenses to kill and often deal with events that threatens Britain or their allies. M will always give an agent their orders and expects that agent to give him a briefing upon the agent returning to headquarters. His secretary is Miss Moneypenny who is a resource for information to the agents in the field.
