WHO WAS THE GREEN HORNET?
The defender of all that is right and good, he hunted the biggest of all game… public enemies who tried to destroy ‘‘our America.”
With his faithful valet, Kato, BRITT REID, daring young publisher, matched wits with the underworld. Risking his life so that criminals, and racketeers within the law would be punished. And would feel the sting of THE GREEN HORNET!

Britt Reid, young crusading publisher of the Daily Sentinel! was indeed the Green Hornet. Lenore Case, his secretary, shared with two others the knowledge of his secret identity as The Green Hornet. The others were Police Commissioner Higgins and Reid’s valet, Kato — his sidekick and partner who was highly trained and skilled in the martial arts and Oriental self-defense techniques.

The Green Hornet and Kato fought for law and order on both sides. He was disliked by racketeers and gangsters, both within the law and without. His goal was to “clean-up” America of crime and violence… and be did just that!

Keeping their identities secret by way of mask and disguises, including gloves to prevent fingerprint detection;.a secret seal; and messages attached to rocks — they infiltrated the inner sanctums of the police and the underworld alike!

In their streamlined car, “The Black Beauty which moved like “lightning”, and traveling only in the stealthy darkness of night on back alleys and deserted roads – The Green Hornet and Kato carried out their endless drive to defeat corruption!
