A killer known as “The Bat’ has returned and is loose in a mansion occupied by mystery writer Mystery writer Cornelia Van Gorder (Agnes Moorehead). He is searching for a million dollars worth of securities that was stashed there by the original thief, and the mansion’s owner, John Fleming. The question is who is the masked man called “The Bat?”
